The Birds Free app for iPhone and iPad

Andy Sheppard is one of the UKís most compelling and charismatic saxophonists. He has illuminated the bands of jazz greats such as George Russell, Gil Evans and Carla Bley.

For a number of years while on tour, around the world, he has made recordings of bird song and then woven the birdís music into seven compositions. These works are unique personal musical sketches and not available on record or CD.

This free version of the App has full versions of the seven tracks. Each accompanied by Andys written comments and beautifully illustrated with bird paintings.
